DisasterHousingSearch.org is a free non commercial, non profit directory for hurricane survivors in search of free temporary housing.  

This site was produced in 2005 by Creative NetVentures, Inc., a Georgia corporation in an effort to help those devastated by hurricanes Gustav, Hanna, and 2005's Katrina.  The service has been expanded in 2011 to offer housing to those affected by tornadoes, floods, fire, and other natural disasters.

This website is non-profit and will not display commercial advertising.  

If you are a homeowner who wants to help by providing temporary housing to disaster survivors, submit a detailed listing here.  We encourage homeowners to use a temporary email address (for security) and to provide as much detail as you can in the description of your listing.
